Want to bring a student group to Na’atik? We welcome groups of all sizes and types for specially designed Spanish or Maya immersion experiences.
We have over a decade of experience in welcoming middle school, high school, homeschool and university student groups, delivering life-changing experiences. Our program is fully customizable, allowing you to balance class time, fun activities and cultural experiences to meet your students’ needs.
FAQs
What is the maximum and minimum amount of people that can sign up to be in a group?
We can accept groups of between 4 and 25 students. For each 8 students in your groups we provide one free group leader space. More can be added if desired.Do all of the students take class together?
We can split students by ability if desired depending on numbers, and can also offer split experiences where some students study Spanish and others study Maya. We cannot split Maya classes by ability. Maya classes require a working knowledge of Spanish.Is there a housing and accommodation option for groups?
Students typically stay with trusted local homestay families, with 2-4 students per house. Group leaders can do the same, however we have other accomdation options available if desired.What are the transportation options for groups?
Private airport transfers from Cancun or Tulum and transport to and from activities is included. We may also be able to provide bicycles for getting around town if desired.Will classes be taught by Na’atik teachers? Can I teach classes?
Na'atik can provide up to 18 hours per week of either Spanish or Maya tuition with qualified native speaking teachers. If you wish to teach all or someof the classes, this can be accomodated.What are the food options for groups?
Groups have most meals with homestay families, but on some excursions meals are eaten out. We are able to meet most dietary restrictions, however we recommend letting us know as far in advance as possible.
