Our Family Adventure Immersion Package is one of the most rewarding experiences your family will ever share.

Our premium Family Adventures Immersion Package is a once-in-a-lifetime family vacation packed full of language learning, fun, and discovery through classes taught be native speakers, genuine immersion experiences, and engaging activities and excursions.

This is a unique, stress-free option for adventurous families looking to immerse themselves in authentic Mexican culture away from resorts and tourist destinations.

As Na’atik is a nonprofit commited to sustainable travel, you can rest assured that your family’s experience will be benefiting the community here in our city of Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

Homestay Accommodation

All-inclusive stay with a friendly local family. Share three delicious meals a day, showcasing the unique culinary traditions of the region. Share free time and experience life from the perspective of a Mexican family. Practice your Spanish in real life scenarios.

High-Quality Classes

Take 10 to 12 hours of group classes with professional, native-speaking teachers.

Our classes are split by ability, so it doesn’t matter if your family are at different levels. We offer classes for children aged 8 and above.

Activities and Excursions

You won’t have to worry about getting bored, as your schedule will be packed with excursions and activites designed to showcase the culture of the region. Transport and a bilingual guide are provided with all activities.

Prices

Prices are per week, Sunday to Saturday.

There is a rotating weekly itinerary; meaning you can stay for two weeks without repeating activities.

What Is Included

  • Six nights accomodation with one of our local homestay families.

  • Airport transfers to and from Felipe Carrillo Puerto - Tulum Airport (Pickup from Cancún Airport available for extra charge).

  • A dedicated immersion coordinator to help you make the most of your time here.

  • Certificates of completion and Na’atik T-shirts for the whole family.

  • Being a sustainable traveler; your family’s adventure package directly supports education for local and Indigenous students.

Sample Itineraries

The Na’atik Familly Adventure Immersion Package is available year round. The below week A and B sample itineraries are subject to change depending on weather conditions and other factors. We will provide you with a detailed itinerary for your family on arrival. During the summer we run the two itineraries on rotation so that families joining us for two weeks can experience as much of the region as possible.

WEEK A

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be taken with your homestay family except where noted in the itinerary. Dietary restrictions can be accomodated with advance notice.

  • Your adventure begins.

    Airport Pickup.

    Arrive in Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

    Brief orientation with homestay family.

    Evening meal with family.

  • Orientation meeting at Na’atik.

    Your first Spanish class.

    T-shirt printing workshop at local cooperative featuring Maya designs.

    Walking tour of Felipe Carrillo Puerto with guide.

    Delicious welcome meal showcasing regional cuisine.

  • Visit to a stunning Maya cenote.

    Afternoon Spanish Class.

    Intercultural exchange with local students (not available during school vacations and subject to student timetables).

  • Cooking class with a local family.

    Afternoon Spanish class.

  • Day trip to the incredible hidden Maya ruins of Chacchoben and the famous Bacalar lagoon of seven colours. Includes entry to the archological site, Bacalar fort and a boat trip on the lagoon.

    Please note lunch is not included, however your guide will be able to recommend places to eat in Bacalar.

  • Spanish Class

    Graduation with certificates and Na’atik t-shirts.

  • Say goodbye to your homestay family.

    Drop off at airport.

    Note: If your family are staying for two weeks, Saturday and Sunday will be free days to explore the region.

WEEK B

  • Your adventure begins.

    Pickup at Airport.

    Arrive in Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

    Brief orientation with homestay family.

    Evening meal with family.

  • Orientation meeting at Na’atik.

    Your first Spanish class.

    Learn about Maya stingless beekeeping traditions at a local meliponaria

    Walking tour of Felipe Carrillo Puerto with guide.

    Delicious welcome meal showcasing regional cuisine.

  • Visit a secluded jungle lagoon, with kayak hire included.

    Afternoon Spanish class.

    Intercultural exchange with local students (not available during school vacations and subject to student timetables).

  • Jungle bike tour in the surrounding bioreserve.

    Afternoon Spanish class.

  • Day trip to the magnificent Cobá ruins and the pristine beaches of Tulum.

    Please note that lunch is not included, however your guide will be able to recommend places to eat.

  • Morning Spanish class.

    Graduation with certficate and Na’atik t-shirt.
