Supporter of the Month: Anna Woods
This month, we are proud to feature Anna Woods as Na’atik’s Supporter of the Month — a longtime friend of our mission, a bridge between cultures, and a champion of Maya creativity and community.
Anna is both Canadian and Mexican, and the heart behind Xokiin, a retreat program based in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Her work has long centered on cultural connection: in the past, Xokiin facilitated a mentor program for Maya artists, uplifting local talent and helping preserve the traditions, stories, and artistry of the region.
More about her inspiring work can be found at xokiin.com.
Anna has known about Na’atik since its earliest days, witnessing—and cheering on—our growth from a small community project into a thriving space for language learning, cultural exchange, and opportunity. Today, we are honored to have her as a sponsor, and deeply grateful for her support of our Maya Youth Scholarship Student, Perla. Her belief in our students and her commitment to empowering youth in Felipe Carrillo Puerto reflect the values that guide everything we do.
Anna, thank you for walking with us, for believing in education as a catalyst for change, and for helping us continue to open doors for the next generation.

We are only able to provide this much needed program thanks to the support of generous donors and the funds raised from our award winning Maya and Spanish Immersion Program. If you would like to support our mission please consider donating today or take a look at our immersion programs and online class packages.
