Maya Youth Scholarship
A scholarship at Na’atik is a life changing gift for local Indigenous students, offering access to opportunities that they would not otherwise have. Over 95% of our scholarship students go on to study at university.
This year we have 60 scholarship students in our MY Scholarship Program. My Scholarship students have all demonstrated their commitment to their studies, but due to financial constraints, have difficulty accessing classes.
$600 USD covers a student for the full school year, giving them:
Weekly high-quality English classes.
Textbooks.
Access to extracurricular activities such as our amazing library workshops.
Use of our trilingual library, including free book lending.
It also helps us to provide an emergency fund to help students with temporary difficulties, ensuring that they are able to continue attending class.
As a sponsor, you will receive 3 updates on your student's progress, with a letter at Christmas, a spring update, and a thank-you video at the end of the year.
