Carnaval In Carrrillo
Carnaval in Felipe Carrillo Puerto is a three-day celebration centered around the parque in the center of town and ending on Fat Tuesday.
Think sequins, feathers, samba dancing, food and entertainment as well as Carnaval Kings and Queens, parades, live music, performance art and even a costume contest. Carnaval celebrations occur throughout the Yucatan peninsula, and although Carrillo is on a slightly smaller scale than some of the more famous Carnaval celebrations across the world it is no-less colorful and fun!
